D365 F&O Data Management Associate / Analyst
About the Opportunity
FuGenTex Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a D365 F&O Data Management Associate / Analyst to support a client-facing data management engagement. The position is designed for an experienced data-oriented professional who can work independently, maintain a high level of accuracy and communicate effectively with Business Analysts and business users.
The selected candidate will primarily work with data inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). Responsibilities will include manual data entry, record updates, corrections, validation, manipulation, cleansing and preparation of master and transactional data.
This is a highly detail-oriented role. The candidate should be comfortable working with repetitive and high-volume data tasks while consistently maintaining accuracy, consistency and data quality.
Existing D365 expertise is beneficial but is not mandatory. Strong data aptitude, ERP adaptability and the ability to learn quickly are highly valued for this engagement.
Role Objective
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual data entry and record creation within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Update existing records and make corrections based on approved business requirements.
- Perform data manipulation, transformation, validation and cleanup activities.
- Work with both master data and transactional data while following established procedures.
- Assist Business Analysts in preparing datasets for imports, migrations, updates and other operational activities.
- Format spreadsheets and source files so that data is structured correctly for downstream processing.
- Review datasets for missing information, duplicate records, incorrect values and formatting issues.
- Identify and flag data-quality issues to appropriate client-side analysts.
- Coordinate directly with client-side Business Analysts and business users regarding daily priorities.
- Follow instructions and documented procedures while working with limited supervision.
- Maintain clear documentation of completed activities, data changes and processing steps.
- Communicate blockers, discrepancies and unusual data conditions promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Handle high-volume repetitive data activities without compromising accuracy.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Approximately 4 years of professional experience in a data-oriented engineering, development, operations or analyst role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
- Ability to understand structured datasets and identify inconsistencies or incorrect information.
- Ability to learn a new ERP environment quickly with limited hand-holding.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Confidence participating in live professional conversations with North American stakeholders.
- Willingness and availability to work the required Eastern Time overlap schedule throughout the engagement.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to repetitive data work.
- Ability to manage priorities and complete assigned work within expected timelines.
Communication Requirement
Strong English communication is a critical requirement for this position. The selected candidate may communicate directly with client-side Business Analysts and business users located in North America.
Candidates should be comfortable explaining issues, asking clarification questions, discussing daily priorities and participating in live professional conversations in English.
Work Schedule and Time Zone
Candidates should confirm their ability to consistently support the required Eastern Time overlap schedule before applying.
D365 F&O and ERP Experience
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred, particularly where the candidate has worked with data entities, data imports, master data or transactional records.
Candidates with experience in other enterprise resource planning systems may also be considered. Relevant ERP backgrounds can include SAP, Oracle, Microsoft NAV or Microsoft Business Central.
Good-to-Have Skills and Experience
- Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NAV or Business Central.
- Familiarity with the D365 Data Management Framework.
- Understanding of D365 data entities and DMF imports.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Query.
- Experience handling product or item master data.
- Experience with style, colour and size data structures.
- Experience within apparel, retail or manufacturing environments.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications such as MB-500 or MB-330.
Technical Skills

You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, structured datasets and ERP records, and should be able to identify and resolve small data discrepancies before they become larger operational problems.
A strong candidate will demonstrate reliability, accountability, excellent communication, patience with repetitive tasks and a willingness to learn new systems quickly.
What Success Looks Like
Compensation and Engagement
- Monthly Pay Range: ₹50,000 - ₹70,000 per month.
- Target Budget: ₹60,000 per month.
- Work Arrangement: Remote.
